Miller Pacific Engineering Group provides clients with special services in the Geosciences by drawing on forty years of professional expertise in Geology, Civil and Geotechnical Engineering. Although the firm’s experience extends throughout the seventeen western states, Alaska, Hawaii and Guam, the majority of its projects are in the San Francisco Bay Area region.

The firm serves numerous public agencies and private clients through offices in Novato, Napa, and Petaluma (including soil laboratory). Their services span the range of Geotechnical Planning, Geological Hazards Analysis, Geotechnical Exploration and Testing, Foundation Engineering, Construction Monitoring, Geo-Civil Engineering and Distressed Property Evaluation.

Computers and specialized software are routinely employed for engineering analyses, data research and production of CAD drawings. The firm’s resource library provides a wealth of background information on local geologic and soil conditions, and their project records document the constructability of their various geotechnical designs.

Miller Pacific Engineering Group is an employee-owned California corporation and registered small business. The firm has an active quality control program, participate regularly in professional activities and have undergone four cycles of PEER review inspections and evaluations by ASFE, the National Association of Professional Firms Practicing in the Geosciences.

Miller Pacific Engineering Group is familiar with the geologic conditions, building and development standards and history of the San Francisco Bay Area. The firm has an extensive collection of aerial photos, geologic maps, bore-hole and laboratory soil data and have developed relationships and resources to supplement its in-house capabilities in this area where they work on many different projects.
