Field Tech

Base Salary: $74,250 - $84,900

 

This position is primarily composed of field work performed under the supervision of Project Mangers at various locations throughout the Bay Area (primarily Napa, Sonoma, and Marin Counties). Typical duties include performing standard site inspections (including nuclear gauge compaction testing, concrete sampling, asphalt paving, foundation inspections, and deep foundation installation observation, and other geotechnical items), preparation of Daily Field Reports and As-Built figures, and occasional laboratory testing for compaction curves as needed.

Staff Engineer

Base Salary: $84,900 - $106,100

 

This position is split time between field work (primarily geotechnical construction observation and testing at a variety of project sites throughout Marin, Sonoma, and Napa Counties) and office work. Field work duties are similar to a field technician. Office assignments will generally be focused on using CAD and GIS software to prepare plan sets and figures for reports, evaluating field and laboratory data, and performing general research and assisting senior staff in preparing reports and other technical documents.

Project Engineer

Base Salary: $116,700 - $132,600

 

This position is primarily office based. This position will include managing projects in the Marin, Sonoma, or Napa County areas for both public and private clients and be responsible for all phases of work from proposal preparation to project closeout, either independently or in collaboration with other Senior/Associate level personnel. Office assignments will generally be focused on using CAD and GIS software to prepare plan sets and figures for reports, evaluating field and laboratory data, writing geotechncial reports, and performing general research and assisting senior staff.

Senior Engineer

Base Salary: $143,250 - $159,200

 

This position is primarily office based. Typical duties include preparation of proposals, budgets, and project schedules, managing all phases of work of complex projects in Marin or Napa County, design of field exploration methods, and preparation of data and resultant geotechnical investigation reports. Support in CAD and GIS software to prepare plan sets and figures for reports is generally provided by Staff and Project level, but candidate should be familiar with programs and be able to work collaboratively with younger staff in preparing reports and other technical documents.
